In Memoriam: Costel Denson

Costel D. Denson, a former professor, interim dean of the College of Engineering and later vice provost for research at the University of Delaware, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018, at the age of 83.

UD Hosts Civil Engineering Student Conference

The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Student Conference was held at the University of Delaware on April 7-8. Approximately 250 students from 11 universities attended the conference, which included technical papers and presentations and friendly engineering competitions.

Antoniewicz Inducted Into AIMBE College of Fellows

Antoniewicz was selected for “pioneering contributions in advancing stable-isotope tracing and quantitative metabolic flux analysis approaches in biomedical and biological engineering,” according to a press release announcing the award. He is one of 156 new Fellows inducted in 2018.
