College of Engineering Patent Policy

Our College patent policy states that costs will be incurred as follows:

1/6 Inventor
1/6 Department
1/3 College
1/3 University

For tenured professors, the inventor’s portion is expected to be paid from personal money. The Dean will consider requests for providing matching funds for untenured professors.
