Undergraduate Programs

The WIE Mentoring program matches undergraduate women students with practicing women engineers in the area. Two on-campus events are held each year to promote and sustain mentor-mentee interactions. Mentors and mentees also communicate by phone, e-mail, at informal lunches and/or at visits organized by the mentor at the workplace.

Women undergraduate engineering students who would like to have a woman engineering professional as a mentor should sign up online or contact Kathy Werrell. Women engineering professionals who would like to participate in this rewarding, low-time-commitment activity that has high rewards for you and our students should also contact Kathy Werrell. We will "custom-match" our students and mentors to the greatest extent possible -- so the more information you give us about your interests, the better!
