Society for the Advancement of Materials & Processing Engineering (SAMPE)

The mission of the Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering - University of Delaware Student Chapter (SAMPE-UD) is to provide a venue for students in the materials and processing related fields to exchange ideas and interact with the professional sector.

SAMPE-UD will coordinate facilities tours of local industries and will organize a seminar series featuring speakers in the materials and process engineering fields. The organization will also maintain close ties to the parent national SAMPE organization as well as the regional Baltimore/Washington DC professional chapter.
